This past Saturday, August 18, 2018 CDA Court 2690 assisted K of C Council 10940 with cleanup and and lawn work of the new portion of St. Peter’s property this past weekend. It was hot, dirty, sweaty work but pulling together we got it done.
CDA Court #2690 is one the Circle of Love Quality of Life winners from Texas State CDA with a special recognition noted in the Texas CDA newsletter for our program of adopted those in residents in nursing and rehabilitation centers whom do not get regular visits or don’ have family members. CDA Court 2690 on a weekly basis visits with the residents of Review. We entertain them with games, share stories, bring them cookies and treats and so much more. Edna will ask questions every week and the group will give their answers in a diary that each one has. Their favorite food, did they have a pet, what was their favorite vacation spot, etc. Frank wanted a pizza party for his birthday and he got one. Linda even sang and danced a hula for him.
Our Court held our very first Easter Egg Hunt on a Sat March 31. Our Easter Egg Hunt is held annually for the Benefit of children in the parish on Holy Saturday morning.
